# Transferring Ownership

A Silo can be transferred to another address/owner in just a few steps.  For security reasons, the receiving address must first approve the sender. The receiving address must have an active Silo Manager with a healthy LINK balance. If this is not the case, a transfer will not be possible. 

To approve an address to send you a Silo, locate the transfers button as seen in the below screenshot. After clicking the button, a popup will appear where you must submit the sender's address. <br>
