Getting Setup

To allow MetaMask to interact with Polygon, you need to first configure the Polygon network settings in MetaMask. Please follow these steps:

1. Click on Settings in MetaMask

2. Click on Networks

3. Click on Add Network

4. Add the following settings:

Polygon RPC values:

Network Name: Matic Mainnet New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/ Chain ID: 137

Currency Symbol (optional): Matic MATIC Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/

Fully compatible with both the inbuilt dApp browser and the WalletConnect connection (scanning QR code). You are still required to configure the custom network (RPC) by going to Settings > Networks > Add Network.
